Weather Information Sources: Where should I get my weather information?

Where do you get your weather information? Please post your weather sources in the comment section and tell us why you depend on that source!

Which weather will we have today?

The National Weather Service is one of the most reliable sources for weather information. The Weather Channel offers weather and forecasts for any zip code in the United States.

You should also rely on your local radio and television stations. Most stations will provide weather coverage as long as there is severe weather within their viewing/listening area. Given the sparsely populated nature of our state, a weather radio (see our post that details information about weather radios here) would be a valuable purchase as well.

Special thanks to Joe Hansel, morning meteorologist for KCWY channel 13 in Casper, Wyoming, for sharing this information. Check out Joe’s Weather Blog for more weather information.
