Happy 4th of July!

It’s that time of year again for relaxation, great food, lemonade and summertime fun! While enjoying this time of year, here are some safety tips to keep in mind:

  • Be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen at all times when outdoors, and minimize risks of sun exposure as much as possible.
  • One of the best things about summer is the warmer weather, but temperatures can get really hot this time of year! So, keep hydration a priority and be aware of signs of heat-related illness.
  • This year has brought about additional safety issues with the recent fires, and understandably, firework shows may not be happening throughout this region because of this. More importantly, those who have been affected by the fires are in our thoughts and we hope that everyone stays safe during this time. Public health advisories have been issued due to poor air quality in affected areas, and individuals are encouraged to stay indoors while it is smokey outside. Stay up-to-date on any alerts, and have a safe holiday!
