It’s American Heart Month!!


Cardiovascular disease is still the leading cause of death for men and women in America. While heart disease can be influenced by certain genetic factors, there are many ways to help prevent it and reduce one’s risk. Many organizations and agencies are taking part in acknowledging this important health observance for the month of February, and there are many ways you can take part, too! Resources are available to inform, reduce risk, and help prevent cardiovascular disease. Throughout the month we will look at different aspects of this health issue, as well as resources for healthy living.
