  • Listen to the Protect Your Skin Podcast from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention here. This podcast is part of the “A Cup of Health with CDC” series, and covers important information on different types of skin cancer and prevention.

  • The Skin Cancer Foundation has lots of information on what to look for, warning signs, and prevention of skin cancer. Check out the Skin Cancer Foundation’s page on Skin Cancer Information here

  • Working outdoors in the summer heat can be hazardous. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has a helpful resource, “Seven Safety Suggestions for Summer Work,” which can be found here.

  • If spending time outdoors, it may be helpful to check out the UV Index from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and National Weather Service. This online tool allows you to look up the local UV Index by simply entering in city, state, and/or zip code. The UV Index can be found here.
