About Us
Wyoming AgrAbility provides assistance to farmers and ranchers with disabilities and their families.

Our Mission

The goal of Wyoming AgrAbility is to provide information, education, and assistance to ranchers and farmers with disabilities, along with their families, so that they can continue with their livelihood and doing what they love.

Description
This is the Blog for the Wyoming AgrAbility Project. We are dedicated to cultivating accessible agriculture! Wyoming AgrAbility is part of a national program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, focused on promoting independence for members of the agricultural community who have disabilities resulting from injury, illness, aging, or other causes. AgrAbility is a program that provides education, networking, and assistance to ranchers, farmers, and agricultural workers with disabilities, as well as their families. We focus particularly on anyone engaged in production agriculture who wants to continue ranching or farming.

General Information
Wyoming AgrAbility is part of the National AgrAbility Project administered through the United States Department of Agriculture, Authorized by the 1990 Farm Bill. This national program consists of a National Project and State/Regional Projects, each utilizing collaborative partnerships between universities and different disability services organizations. We’re a partnership among the University of Wyoming Extension, Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND), Wyoming Independent Living Rehabilitation (WILR), and Wyoming Services for Independent Living (WSIL). This amazing and supportive network enables us to provide services to farmers and ranchers with disabilities throughout the state.
