November 5, 2015~National Doughnut Day

Perhaps it is a good thing that National Doughnut Day is only observed 2 times a year. Once on June 5th and again on November 5th. We know by the daily consumption of donuts, they are celebrated much more often. Daily in fact!

Is it doughnuts or donuts? Either is acceptable, though nowadays, donuts is the more common spelling. Around since at least 1803 in one form or another, the sweet, gooey goodness has taken on many forms and flavors over the centuries. Everything in moderation is the key to enjoying them. Hopefully you’ll take advantage of the day and enjoy one yourself.

More information about donuts can be found at National Day Calendar.
